The government had failed to provide relief to far-flung affected areas as still there were many areas where relief goods had not been provided after killer earthquake. National Assembly Member and Pakistan Muslim League (N) Leader Abid Sher Ali said this while talking to newsmen.

He said that due to delay in relief activities, thousands of people had died, and stressed to set up National Commission for the investigation of thousands of lives. "The Alliance for Restoration Democracy (ARD) has already demanded for it and masses are also with them", he said.

He opined that the old MNA Hostel and all government residents must be vacated to accommodate the affectees of killer earthquake.

He was of the view that despite tall efforts by the NGOs, relief goods had not been provided to the deserving people in time, and underlined the relief goods, which had come from abroad, were being openly sold in various bazaars.
